What I love about EspressoPause is that it's something special. It's not just a treat for the palate – the espresso from the Elektra Belle Epoque P1 tastes wonderful and has a beautiful crema – but also a feast for the eyes. This portafilter machine from Italy is a rarity and very rarely seen in Germany. Hardly anyone knows how to operate it properly, because coffee knowledge is essential. Handcrafted from brass and copper, its design is reminiscent of R2-D2, and this machine never fails to enchant me. It's not for a quick fix, not street food, not swill in a to-go cup. No, it's something for connoisseurs and coffee aficionados. The barista in his top hat also casually shares a nice story or two about coffee. That's a rare find these days. Savoring every sip. Taking a break. What more could you want?
